Blaby & Whetstone Youth Club FC are a Community Charter Standard Football Club and have their home ground in Whetstone. The club formed in 1954, with just one team, and has now grown to accommodate over 20 Junior teams that offer football coaching and matches to around 200 children, both girls and boys, between the ages of 6 and 18.

 

Our Monday Academy provides a platform for children, as young as four years of age, to start their development in a safe and friendly environment and is the gateway to joining one of our many mini football teams.

 

Through the “game of football” we offer young people the opportunity to have fun, gain the skill of teamwork and improve their levels of overall fitness, in a safe and friendly environment. Our Junior teams play in matches at weekends and train throughout the week using facilities on site at the club. Our aim is to improve the ability of all children, regardless of skill, and allow them to enjoy the whole football experience.
